Program Advisory Committees
The advisory committee is the CTE program's link to business and industry standards, labor market trends, workforce needs, and postsecondary education.
The role of a CTE advisory committee is to guide program design and planning.
Program advisory committees are essential to the program of study approval and renewal processes and the instructor appraisal process, and are important contacts for the Career-Related Learning Experiences students need for high school graduation. Advisory committees are required to meet at least twice each school year.
