What if… Students Stole the Show?

Steve Boyarsky

What if SOESD could provide a television venue for students to showcase their artistic, athletic, and academic talents throughout our region?

What if the Grants Pass Cavemen and North Medford Black Tornado 100th anniversary football game were cable-cast?

What if relatives outside of Oregon could watch their niece play trumpet at the Rogue River Middle School music concert via video streaming on the ESD website?

What if a Mazama High School state championship baseball game were shown live with instant replays?

What if the public could attend the opening night of “The Best of the Best Art Show” from their home?

What if the championship spellers at White Mountain Middle School were showcased in a televised competition?

What if proud parents could purchase a DVD of their child’s graduation from Prospect High School to send to their relatives?

What if SOESD could re-purpose its cable television station to bring school events, activities and academics into homes in Southern Oregon?

What if the Klamath County superintendent and board held a television show to demonstrate to patrons plans for a new construction bond?

What if Three Rivers' school board candidates could have a televised forum for board elections?

What if a high school student could see a younger sister explain her project at the Central Point Elementary science fair?

What if high school students from around the region could watch the Milli Vanilli Lip Sync Spirit Competition at a South Medford assembly?

What if the public got to see the Eagle Point team compete at the Oregon State Mock Trial competition?

What if an evening of Lincoln-Douglas debates from Ashland High School were televised?

What if Phoenix-Talent School District news could be shared on-air in English and Spanish?

What if end-of-the year projects from Butte Falls High School students were televised for the region to see?

What if you could watch Pinehurst Middle School students win the State of Jefferson Scavenger Hunt in your home?

What if the league championship volleyball game between Phoenix and Henley high schools were to be shown throughout the region?

What if... residents throughout our region could experience the excellence of student academics, arts, and athletics in their own homes?

What if... students stole the show?
